Kathryn A. Schofield


Kathryn A. Schofield is a distinguished attorney specializing in elder law, trust and probate administration and litigation, financial elder abuse litigation, and conservatorships.


Ms. Schofield graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA with a psychology and fine arts double major. She has an M.A. in child development from U.C. Davis. She graduated from the U.C. Davis School of Law in 1999.


Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Schofield has served the Contra Costa County community in many ways. She served as President of the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa County Bar Association in 2011 and continues to contribute as a member of the Elder Law Section, including serving on its Board of Directors. Additionally, she has historically played an active role in the senior community, having served on the Lafayette Senior Services Commission, the Lafayette Senior Housing Board of Directors, and as an officer and board member for the non-profit Lamorinda Village, Inc.


Ms. Schofield has been recognized as a Super Lawyer™ from 2012 to present, an honor awarded to a select group of accomplished attorneys based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
